Photo archives hangs out 'on vacation' sign

PLANT CITY - The Plant City Photo Archives and History Center, 106 S. Evers St. is closing for vacation from Monday through Aug. 9.
Executive Director Gil Gott said August is about the only month when things slow down enough that staff members can take a break. He hopes to schedule about a week for vacation each year.
Regular hours at the center, which includes a museum of historical photographs and an exhibit gallery, are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays.
