City holding line on millage rate

PLANT CITY - City commissioners have voted to hold the line on the city's property tax rate.
The rate will remain steady at about $4.71 for each $1,000 of taxable, assessed value.
Public hearings on the millage rate will be held during the city's public hearings on its new budget at its meetings on Sept. 13 and 27. The meetings start at 7:30 p.m. at City Hall, 302 W. Reynolds St.
